International Cultural Exchanges Scheme

This International Cultural Exchanges Scheme forms part of Arts Council Malta’s Internationalisation Strategy for the cultural and creative sectors. It addresses international cultural exchanges, focusing specifically on the outgoing mobility of Maltese and Malta based artists over 18 years of age as well as their art works and cultural productions.

Artistic Research and Development Scheme

The Artistic Research and Development Scheme is one of Arts Council Malta’s tools to enable individuals, groups and organisations to research, plan, develop, and deliver on the Council’s strategic goals and ongoing strategy. Arts in Schools Scheme

The Arts in Schools Scheme is one of Arts Council’s Malta tools to sustain and support the cultural and creative ecology, with a focus on arts education. The Scheme forms part of the Council’s commitment to engage educators and creative practitioners in dialogue and collaboration. The aim is to encourage students and educators to engage with the creative and cultural sectors and to explore innovative pedagogical approaches for the application of the arts in schools. The scheme is also in line with Arts Council Malta’s objective of advocating for a broader inclusion of creativity and the arts in education strengthening further 21st century education and skills.

This call for projects under the Arts Support Scheme is aimed at supporting initiatives – by artists, cultural and creative practitioners, and communities – whose objective is to promote and realise: Cultural Rights

Restoration Funding Scheme

The Restoration Funding Scheme aims at providing financial support for the repair, i.e restoration, and conservation of internal and external cultural property immovables including, but not limited to altars, apertures, architectural décor, gilding and painting or decoration on architectural surface of churches falling under the confines of a Parish Church under the Archdiocese of Malta and the Diocese of Gozo.
