The 2022 EUNIC Film Festival in Malta ​​

The European Union National Institutes of Culture (EUNIC) 2022 Film Festival will be held in Malta between Wednesday 12 October and Sunday 16 October 2022. EUNIC is a network of organisations involved in international cultural relations.

An agreement to strengthen the collaboration between the creative community and the publishing industry

An agreement between Arts Council Malta and the National Book Council aims to strengthen the existing collaboration between these two entities for the promotion of several artistic and educational initiatives, particularly during the National Book Festival and the Book Festival on Campus. The agreement will also facilitate the integration of opportunities for the creative community working in and around the publishing industry, specifically illustrators and graphic designers.

Arts Council Malta has published the final Strategy 2025 that sets out its vision, mission, and goals for the coming years, bolstered by its commitment towards cultural rights. Strategy 2025 lays out three overarching themes—‘Care Create Flourish’—that serve as a bridge between the Council’s strategic goals, principles, and strategic areas.

Arts Council Malta partners with global music strategy leaders, Sound Diplomacy, to develop music and night-time economy strategy

The first ever comprehensive audit of Malta’s music ecosystem and night-time economy will be kicking off in 2022 through a collaboration between Arts Council Malta and Sound Diplomacy, an international music policy consultancy and global expert in developing long-term and self-sufficient music strategies. This audit marks an important step in ACM’s ongoing work to position music and the night-time economy as a key driver in the advancement of the Arts Council Malta Strategy 2025.
