In all, seven projects will receive financial support for the repair, restoration, and conservation of objects in relation to patrimonial heritage. This includes internal and external immobile cultural property, such as altars, architectural d\u00e9cor, works of art, decorations, and other elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cInvestments such as these are testimony to the importance we give to our cultural and artistic legacy, in this case of a religious nature. We are committed to continue aiding all those involved in traditional and creative activities. Through these schemes and initiatives, we will continue strengthening our cultural infrastructure, in this case religious, which is an important part of our collective heritage as a Maltese people\u201d, Minister Bonnici insisted.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The seven projects which will benefit from this scheme are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>G\u0127aqda Dilettanti Knisja ta&#8217; Lapsi, St Julian\u2019s &#8211; Introibo ad Altare Dei: Restoration and conservation of altars in the Knisja l-Qadima tal-Parro\u010b\u010ba ta&#8217; San \u0120iljan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fondazzjoni g\u0127all-Patrimonju Kulturali Tal-Ar\u010bidjo\u010besi Ta\u2019 Malta \u2013 Restoration of the altar of the Chapel of St Anne: Jesuits\u2019 Church, Valletta<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>So\u010bjet\u00e0 Storiko Kulturali Vittoriosa &#8211; Conservation and restoration of the altar painting of the Assumption of the Holy Virgin Mary<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Si\u0121\u0121iewi \u2013 Restoration of a painting of the Immaculate Mary<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>So\u010bjet\u00e0 Dun Filippu Borgia \u2013 Restoration of a clock in St Paul\u2019s Church, Birkirkara<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>G\u0127aqda Mu\u017cikali Sant\u2019Andrija, Luqa \u2013 Restoration of the doors opposite the Church<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fondazzjoni Wirt Kulturali Vittoriosa: Restoration of the wooden base of the statue of St Lawrence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In fact, Minister Bonnici also announced the launch of a new scheme, the Restoration Funding Scheme \u2013 Mobile Artefacts, administered by Arts Council Malta in collaboration with the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage. This new scheme will aid applicants who need to restore mobile artefacts within churches, such as paintings, textiles, statues, chandeliers, and is open to voluntary organisations, in collaboration with parochial churches.
